A snapshot of Ghanan hospitality. I went to a meeting and after my friend had gone to the trouble of getting me a ride there - it was the wrong night. I guess I had a senior moment. Fortunately I was on the website and got to join by phone. I got to hear an entire story ready by someone at the in person meeting. Wow I really needed the meeting and God provided. The good people at Vida Cafe gave me a charger for my phone. Otherwise I would be stuck with no meeting and no way to get a ride home. When the meeting was over the young man working there ordered me a ride and waited with me until it got there. It was over 20 minutes but he did not give up. This is just a small taste of why I love the people of Ghana - a ride to, a charge and a ride back - all because people cared and did whatever was necessary to meet my needs - relatively small that they were. There will be more stories of why I love Ghana and her people.
